Finding Uninhabited Planets
As you navigate sectors, you'll encounter uninhabited planets scattered throughout the galaxy. These are opportunities. Any player can claim an unclaimed planet by landing on it — but only if you have colonists aboard and can defend your claim.
Building Colonies
Once you've claimed a planet, you build colonist populations. Colonies need Organics to grow. As your population increases, the planet generates more resources — Ore, Organics, or Equipment depending on the planet type. A mature colony is a significant passive income source.
Defending Your Territory
Planets can be attacked. Rival players can assault your colonies and seize them. Planetary defenses — fighters, shields, and defensive structures — require investment to maintain. Leaving a planet undefended is an invitation your enemies will accept.
Strategic Territory Control
It's not just about the individual planet — it's about the sector it's in. Controlling multiple planets in the same region creates a defensible cluster that's much harder to dislodge than scattered individual holdings. The best empires are built to be defended, not just built to produce.
